First Night Boston at CanalSide
Boston’s First Night® has been a New Year’s Eve celebration of artistic performances and the beginning of a new year. In keeping with this fantastic Boston tradition, the First Night celebration will open 2025 with an array of performances at CanalSide on Tuesday, December 31 from noon to 4:30pm.

ChuLing Dance Academy
Learn about Chinese culture by watching traditional Chinese folk dances choreographed by the Chu Ling Dance Academy. They will be performing at CanalSide Food + Drink.

Puppet Showplace Theatre
Puppet Showplace Theater and CactusHead Puppets present excerpts from their puppet show "Magnificent Monster Circus." Encounter magnificent creatures from the wilds of your imagination as their human caretaker tries to teach them new tricks in this colorful, silly, multi-sensory show full of friendly monster puppets. Bring the whole family!
